Waliur (Wali) Rahman is a longtime enterprise technology and innovation leader with a career rooted in the telecommunications industry. As Chief Architect at AT&T, he is described as having pioneered the company's early adoption of cloud computing, helping shape its enterprise cloud strategy and large-scale platform architecture during a formative period for the industry.
He is, by reputation, a builder of innovation engines as much as systems: credited with founding the AT&T Innovation Forum to accelerate new ideas, emerging-technology exploration, and cross-functional collaboration, and with later launching an innovation platform for Verizon to identify, develop, and scale new technical capabilities.
