Sabina Z. Khan is a technology executive with more than 30 years of experience building large-scale technology platforms and leading global engineering organizations across telecommunications, enterprise infrastructure, and emerging AI systems. She currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of Datasoft International Inc., where she is architecting the company's pivot toward Agentic AI, guiding development of a customized in-house enterprise LLM platform, and migrating legacy environments to AI-enabled workflows while managing cross-border engineering teams spanning the United States and Asia.
Earlier in her career at Ericsson Inc., she served as Program Director for National Infrastructure Delivery, managing the company's highest-value national contracts for 4G and 5G infrastructure and directing end-to-end rollouts for Tier-1 operators. As a Program Manager for Infrastructure and Cloud Platforms, she delivered the T-Mobile agile infrastructure platform, directed the AT&T Integrated Cloud platform supporting OSS/BSS, and led a connected-vehicle consulting engagement for Ford. Her earlier work included enterprise telecom engagements with Huawei at FlexSolvNetworks. She holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential and a Program Director Certification.
Working from the Dallas area with an engineering team in Dhaka, she is now focused on a proprietary LLM designed to run on a small computing footprint rather than a large data center, alongside responsible AI governance. Her combination of deep infrastructure delivery experience and hands-on AI systems work aligns closely with the SMART America Institute's mission to advance the responsible development, deployment, and governance of emerging technologies for the public good.
